Lanark County says due to the change in the weather, the reduced load restrictions will now take effect on certain Lanark County roads as of Feb. 27th.
The restrictions go into place to ensure the roads aren’t damage as the ground thaws out.
The county notes that it is an offence to transport loads of more than 5 tonnes per axel on roads with restrictions in place.
Signs will be posted on the affected roads.
