If you have a student heading to Algonquin College, Carleton of U Ottawa next year, Minister of Colleges Jill Dunlop has some good news for you.
And considering students are in the same “times are tough” boat as the rest of us, there was more good news too: the tuition freeze in the province will continue for three more years.
Institutions will be able to increase tuition by up to five per cent for out-of-province domestic students.
The province is also introducing legislation that would, if passed, support student mental health, safe and inclusive campuses and allow for increased transparency of fees.
