The Carleton Place Jr. Canadians are enjoying their well-deserved first round EOJHL playoff bye as they await their divisional semi-final opponent.
Head Coach Cole Burton was impressed with the effort the young team put in all season, which ended with a 16 game winning streak and clinching the Richardson Division.
Burton is confident they have a championship caliber team, but knows playoffs are a different animal.
The Jr. Canadians await to play the winner of the wildcard series between the Renfrew Timberwolves and the Richmond Royals, which Renfrew currently leads 2-1.
