The town of Smiths Falls has joined many others in lowering their flags to half-staff to honour the life of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney who passed away last week.
Flags will be raised again after the state funeral planned for Montreal on March 23rd.
Ahead of the funeral, Mr. Mulroney will lie in state in both Ottawa and Montreal
