The Upper Canada District School Board continues to work towards its targeted 90% graduation rate.
There’s a lag when it comes to the information they receive from the Ministry of Education, but the latest data available from 2017 showed the board had a graduation rate of 87.5%.
Executive Superintendent Eric Hardie fully believes that 90% target is not only attainable, but sustainable.
The latest credit attainment data supports his optimism. One hundred per cent of schools in the first semester of this school year eclipsed the 90% mark.
