Ontario wine makers are excited for proposed changes the VQA has put forward.
The proposed changes would expand the list of authorized grape varieties, by adding 25 hybrid grape vines.

Growers receive tax benefits for producing VQA products and a larger variety of grapes means a wider selection of products for the consumer.
