The Carleton Place Canadians are not intimidated by the Smiths Falls Bears, who they’ll meet in the first round of the CCHL playoffs for the second straight season.
The Bears are a good team that roles four strong lines and has one of the league’s best goalies in Ohio State commit Dawson Labre, says Canadians Owner, General Manager, and Head Coach Brent Sullivan.
But he’s confident his club’s 60 minute effort can go toe-to-toe with anyone in the league.
Carleton Place won three of five regular season meetings with the Bears, and won eight of their last nine games to close out their schedule.
Sullivan has belief in his team that success will carry over into the postseason.
Game 1 of the best of seven goes Friday night in Smiths Falls at 7:30.
