Some members of the Smiths Falls Downtown Business Association asked Councillor Dawn Quinn to bring up the possibility of expanding free parking limits in the town.
Quinn did so at a recent meeting, and pitched an idea of her own.
This has been a long-discussed topic at various points over the years which resulted in staff reports and a recent traffic study.
Council felt before they look into the subject again, to have the DBA decide internally what they want to see happen, and bring that request to a meeting.
