Yesterday's eclipse moments before totality
It was impressive to say the least.
At about 3:24 PM Monday afternoon we got to witness over 99% totality in the Eclipse. It got darker than dusk then the temperature dropped.
Many people travelled south to Gananoque which was in the path of totality where they experienced some mid-afternoon darkness.
And that visitor wasn’t alone in being surprised by the celestial event, and what was happening around them.
Others realized that sometimes we take things for granted.
Those reactions were pretty common among those who got to experience totality, and even those who only got the partial effect. All in all the 2024 total solar eclipse created memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.
