The province will spend $8.9 million for additions to two CDSBEO schools in Carleton Palce, St. Gregory and Notre Dame.
LFK MPP John Jordan made the announcement about the additions that will add 394 student spaces to the schools.
It’s a timely move as Carleton Place and Beckwith remain two of the fastest growing communities in the country.
in making the announcement, Jorddan said, ““Students deserve to learn in state-of-the-art modern facilities,” Jordan said. “It is so important to get new schools and expansions to existing schools built as quickly as possible in our growing communities, like Carleton Place.”
The money is part of a $1.3 billion investment for new and expanded schools announced by Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education.
