The Cove Inn presents Blues at the Cove with Samantha Marting and Delta Sugar (Juno Nominated, Maple Blues Winning band). They hit the stage tonight from 7 until 11. Dinner and show, is $85 and that includes a donation to the Westport Food Bank.
The Dalhousie Library is holding a Cafe, Book, and Bake Sale Fundraiser today, April 20 from 9-3 at the Watson’s Corners Hall, 1132 Concession 3, Watson’s Corners. Come out and browse our selection of used books that have been generously donated by folks in the community and grab a coffee or tea and a baked treat!
Today is Earthfest 2024 from 11 to 3 in Carleton Place. It’s a free event with live entertainment, workshops, and earth-friendly fun for all ages! Perth, we’re talkin’ trash! It’s the return of the Perth Trashure Hunt today, a fun, community-wide clean up. Check in behind Perth Town Hall at 9 am, then head out and start pitching in. Let’s team up to take out the trash during the Perth Trashure Hunt, Saturday, April 20th. Brought to you by Perth’s Climate Change Advisory Panel.
Bring your used items to the Community Trunk Sale in the Perth Legion parking lot today. It’s $10 per space and supports our vets through the work of the Legion.
The Young Petty Stones, the Music of Neil Young, Tom Petty, and the Rolling Stones takes to the stage at the Cove Inn tonight at 7. It’s $85 for dinner and the show. A portion of the funds raised go to support the local food bank.

There’s a Fish fry tomorrow from 4-630 at the Toledo Legion, Sponsored by St. Philip Church. Cost is Adults-$19 Children 12 and under -$10. It features haddock, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, cabbage salad,
buns, dessert, coffee, tea and juice. Take out is also available.
The Perth Citizens’ Band, Canada’s oldest continuing town band, will be holding its spring concert titled “ON BROADWAY: Over 100 Years of Broadway Music”, on Sunday at 2PM at the Perth Legion Hall. The concert will feature well known songs from the early days of Broadway. Cost for the concert is $10 per person or $20 for a family and paid at the door. For more information visit www.perthband.ca
And the Bells of St. Paul’s, Handbell Choir, under the direction of Ann McMahon, will ring out their resonant tones at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 21st, in the accessible and acoustically pleasing performance space at St. Paul’s United Church, Perth. No admission fee, but freewill offerings accepted with thanks to offset promotional expenses
