Montague Township has appointed Trevor Johnson as the newest council member.
Deputy Reeve Bill Caroll has faith Johnson will represent the township well.
Johnson was one of seven residents who sought the vacant seat left by Morgan Kenny, who resigned earlier this year due to family matters.
