
The Festival of the Maples kicks of the tourist season tomorrow in Perth.
Perth and District Chamber of Commerce President and Festival of the Maples Chair Brian Perkin says they’re celebrating our producers, who had a bit of a different year.
The maple syrup crop is the first of the year in Ontario, and the more than 11 producers attending the festival are more than happy to share the results.
As for the day itself, Perkin says once again they have something for everyone.
Perkin says people from town and beyond look forward to it every year.
He also stresses that the Festival Wouldn’t be possible without the support of so many.
The Festival of the Maples is also the single largest fundraiser of the year for the Perth and District Chamber of Commerce, and is a great way to support local business.
