Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum is hosting “Beatlemania” to celebrate 60 years since RCA pressed Beatles records there.
The exhibit features memorabilia from locals and artifacts from RCA Victor Smiths Falls and CJET.
Over 400 people, mostly women, worked at RCA during its peak in the 1950s.
The first Beatles records for North America were pressed there in 1963.
Mayor Shawn Pankow is excited about this unique piece of local history and invites everyone to join in. If you have Beatles memorabilia or stories to share, contact the museum by May 1, 2024.
The exhibit opens on June 1 with live music, food, and more. For more info, contact Will Manhire at the museum.
