The Public Works Department’s curbside leaf collection period is coming to an end this Friday, May 3rd, 2024. Residents are reminded to place their leaf bags at the curb for collection by 7:00 a.m. Only paper leaf bags weighing no more than 15 kg will be accepted; items in plastic bags will not be collected.
For those who prefer to deliver their leaf and yard waste to the Compost Yard at 128 Patterson Crescent, here are the opening dates: Saturdays, starting May 4th, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (please note the change in hours from 2023), and Wednesdays, starting May 8th, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Residents are reminded not to dump materials at the gates of the Compost Yard when it’s closed, as this is illegal and not permitted. Let’s all work together to keep our community clean and green!
