We are profiling Shannon Miller of Miller’s Bay Farm, Market Garden and Berry Patch in Lombardy.
To live in our listening area, is to know Miller’s Bay Farm. They’re known for their incredible crops and of course their strawberries.
But they do much more for the community, especially through the Good Food Bank at the Table CFC.
Shannon Miller tells us that two way relationship has the Table supporting the Millers, and other farms, by purchasing food from them for their programs and produce boxes they sell to support the centre.
She says working with the organization is incredible.
The farm is a multi-generation operation that is known for their garden stand along the highway. People come from miles to check it out and return visitors always make sure they stop to get what they need for their stay.
They must be doing something right, because Miller’s Bay Farm has been around for 125 years and is showing no sign of going anywhere.
