Maple Pastures has expanded their operation on the family farm near Stanlevyille in just four short years.
Brady McGlade is one of many overseers of the production.
He says his grandfather used to tap the trees on their property many years ago, but 2020 was the first time in about fifty years the family started things back up again.
Since then, the operation continues to grow.
McGlade spoke to how automation’s trickled into the routine in order to cover the expansion they’ve seen.
New in 2024, Maple Pastures will have a farm stand located at the corner of Narrows Locks Road and Miners Point Road where maple syrup, fresh cut flowers and produce grown on the farm will be available for purchase.
