We are profiling Dr. James Coupland from FarmForest Research in Almonte. FarmForest Research is all about improving farming for the next generation. It’s described as an innovative and committed life sciences company serving the agricultural sector.
Dr. Coupland explains.
Coupland brings decades of experience to the farm from all around the world. He’s been a consultant for the United Nations too, but when it came to settling in one place, he returned home to Almonte, where his latest work takes on a common issue.
He’s also working to help the next generation of farmer’s provide different food locally.
Coupland says they also sell the food they grow too at the Crosby Market, and right at their farm, on Munro Drive.
