The Emotional Baggage art show is now on in at the Carleton Place Art Collective and the Art Factory in Renfrew to mark Mental Health Month. Close to 30 artists are presenting their art to promote the de-stigmatization of mental health through their work. The Perth Dog Park Community is hosting a Yard Sale/BBQ – fund-raiser for fencing for the Darou Farm Dog Park today from 8 until 1 at 34 Grant Street. Come by for sausage on a bun breakfast and browse recycled treasures, and get some dog treats made by the Perth Bakery!

There’s a community breakfast at St. George’s 2786 Tatlock Rd in Clayton, today from 9-11am. Donations accepted however not expected. All are welcome.
The RCAF is celebrating 100 years across the country. The local RCAF Air Cadets are holding a special event today at their new location in the Settler’s Ridge Mall in Smiths Falls. It gets underway at 11:30 and includes a BBQ lunch, a special March, a wine and cheese receptions and dinner. The Wine and Cheese is $10, as is the Dinner. There’s High quality compost for sale in Carleton Place today and tomorrow, starting at nine both days. It’s $10 per 15 kg bag with proceeds supporting projects of the Rotary Club of Carleton Place and Mississippi Mills and the Carleton Place Girls Hockey Association. You can pick up your bag at the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority parking lot on highway 7, both days.
