Last Saturday, May 4th, the Beckwith Township Council and Staff organized an event at Beckwith Park to distribute various bareroot tree species to the community.
Residents were offered White Pine, White Spruce, Yellow Birch, Red Oak, and Silver Maple trees to plant.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental consciousness and enhance the greenery of the township.
The event saw a good turnout, and the organizers expressed gratitude to everyone who participated and showed dedication to making the community more sustainable.
By distributing these trees, the council and staff not only encouraged residents to actively contribute to the environment but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards greener living.
Such community-driven efforts are vital for ensuring a healthier and more vibrant environment for current and future generations.
