A single-vehicle rollover crash in Sharbot Lake, has left one person dead and five others hurt.
It happened just after 12:05 p.m. Thursday on Burke Settlement Road.
The victims were transported transported to hospitals in Kingston, Perth, and CHEO in Ottawa. Their injuries are said to vary in severity. Police one of them is fighting for their life.
The ages and identities of the injured have not been confirmed. The vehicle they were in is only being described as a “passenger car.”
A stretch of Burke Settlement Road was closed for several hours as police worked to piece together what happened.
It re-opened last night around 10:00 p.m.
