The Smiths Falls Compost site is open.
Acceptable materials include leaves, grass clippings, and brush.
The site at 3514 Highway 43 is open weekdays until June 26 from 9-3, and Saturdays until November 23rd from 8 am until 4 pm.
Food and kitchen wastes are not accepted, but you can get a backyard composter at Town Hall for $45.00.
