The Ontario Provincial Police believe they know the car that was involved in the hit-and-run death of Montague Township man Steven Tate.
In a video released to social media, the OPP have identified a dark coloured hatchback or sedan they believe to be a Mazda, that “would have had damage to the front passenger side.”
Tate was found dead along Highway 15 on November 8th, and was reported missing on November 4th, the same day the 34-year-old was last seen alive.
Police say if you recognize the car or saw a potential match with the damage described above, anytime after 8:00 p.m. on November 4, 2023, call Lanark OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Ref #E231493903.
To remain anonymous, call Lanark County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
