Lanark County OPP in Carleton Place have initiated an investigation after human remains were pulled from the Mississippi River, at the end of Oakland Crescent in the twon.
The determination of the individual’s identity and the cause of death is pending a post-mortem.
Authorities are not speculating who it may be.
