5:30 am: Wilson Street West is open once again after being closed for several hours by the OPP to investigate a serious collision.

The OPP continues their investigation in Perth after a multi-vehicle collision caused gridlock in the town Tuesday afternoon.
At least three vehicles were involved in the collision at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Wilson Street West in the Town. Two of the vehicles appear to have sustained heavy damage.
Lanark County OPP later confirmed they had a canine unit active in the area. One of drivers reportedly fled the scene on foot.
The OPP say there’s no threat to public safety, and traffic is being diverted to Drummond Street.
