Housing and living costs are big problems in Leeds and Grenville right now.
Warden Nancy Peckford, who is also mayor of North Grenville, went to Queens Park this week to talk about how important it is to have homes for people who need support, especially those who are homeless or struggling to find a place to live.
She met with Premier Doug Ford, Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark, and other leaders from the province to figure out what they can do to help.
The goal is to find ways to make sure everyone has a safe and affordable place to live.
This meeting shows that they are serious about fixing the housing crisis in the area. They want to work together to find solutions that will make life better for people in Leeds and Grenville.
