Perth’s Re-Use Centre, a much-anticipated community initiative, is set to open its doors for the season tomorrow (May 25).
Located at the Perth Landfill on 666 Wildlife Road, the Centre will operate every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. until October 12, unless otherwise noted on the official website.
This Centre offers a sustainable solution for the Town of Perth’s residents to drop off items they no longer need, promoting recycling and reusing within the community.
Only Perth taxpayers are eligible to leave items, but everyone is welcome to take items home.
A project of the Climate Change Advisory Committee, the Re-Use Centre is powered by dedicated volunteers. Those interested in contributing can reach out to Hilary at hilaryhodgins@trentu.ca.
