Lanark County heard its second growth projection report from consultant’s Watson and Associates.
It’s more of the same from the initial presentation, with manager Adam Fischer saying some municipalities lead the pack.
Fischer says the county’s facing an aging bubble seen across the province.
Nearly half of the county’s population is expected to be at least 65 years old by 2041, and the projected population of Lanark County is expected to hit 107,400 by 2046.
