An Almonte resident has been named one of the 11 finalists in this year’s MyView Youth Film Festival.
Ava Derouin, with her original short film “Get Outside,” has earned an invitation to the awards ceremony at the Brockville Arts Centre next month.
She will compete for the grand prize of $1,000.
Youth ages 10-24 across Eastern Ontario have been busy making short videos about something important to them.
