We’re expecting some more hot weather today and tomorrow with the humidex climbing to 31 today and as high as 36 tomorrow. That means we have to stay as cool as possible.
At the same time, the health unit’s Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li says they recognize not everyone can do that easily.
So the advise is check on them whenever possible. Bring them water.
If you are in a situation where you have to be outside most of the time, seek out shade and public areas that are cool like libraries or stores.
