It’ll cost Mississippi Mills a little more than expected to upgrade the pedestrian walkway for the reconstructed Blakeney Bridge.
What had been originally estimated to be a $180,000 has seen costs rise $15,500 in the interim, according to Cory Smith.
The Public Works Director told council they intend to keep the planned work on track.
Work will begin in June, and should be finished in December.
