Get your rod and bait ready because KidFish is coming back on Saturday, June 15.
This free fishing derby is for kids aged 16 and under. It takes place in the Tay Basin and along the Tay River.
Registration is from 8-11 a.m. beside the Perth Legion, and the derby runs from 8-11:30 a.m.
Prizes and lunch are provided for all registered kids, with lunch starting at 11:30 a.m.
This event is for bank fishing only (no boats) between Gore and Beckwith Streets.
It is hosted by the Town of Perth and Perth Fire Services, with special guests Friends of the Tay Watershed and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
A special thanks to the Legion Ladies Auxiliary for providing lunch.
