The Table Community Food Centre concluded their seventh and final Cultural Celebration Event this month.
Social Justice & Advocacy Coordinator Stephanie Corrin went over the culture’s they dove into.
Working with cultural ambassadors, the team would meet in person prior to the events to bring about a comprehensive expression for each celebration.
This included recipes, decorations, music, an educational component, and a presentation, all revolving around the community meal.
Corrin made these events possible through grant funding, and said it was a huge success.
