There was a debate surrounding the possibility of raising the fees for arena and public pool users in Carleton Place at a recent meeting.
Councillor Jeff Atkinson feels it’s not necessary given where the town is financially.
In the end, the committee voted to keep the fees the same for residents and to increase it 3% for non-residents.
