Environment Canada says this prolonged heat event we’ve been living in will continue through the day (Thursday).
Once again, dangerously hot and humid conditions expected.
Today, we’re looking at 32 degrees with a humidex of 41. There’s a good chance we’ll see some showers, with the possibility of a thunderstorm too. There will be little relief overnight as we dip to 20, but it will still feel like 26.
The national forecaster notes temperatures tomorrow (Friday) should be several degrees cooler at 27, though a humidex of 35 is expected. Both those values should be enough to move us out of the Heat Warning, likely dropping us to a Heat Watch, as spring goes out hot.
Look for a high to 25 Saturday and 24 Sunday.
