The LCBO has announced it will extend store hours starting this week because of a possible employee strike.
The LCBO and OPSEU are still negotiating, but the union can legally strike at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 5.
From Thursday, June 27, all LCBO stores in the province will open early at 9:30 a.m. and many will stay open until 10 p.m., though closing times may vary.
The LCBO encourages customers to shop early and stock up on their favorite products. They assure that their shelves are well-stocked and they are working hard to maintain inventory levels.
Customers should check their local store’s schedule for updated hours, which will be posted as the extended hours take effect.
Additionally, all LCBO stores will be closed on Monday, July 1, for Canada Day.
