The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital are included as a partner of the Kingston Health Sciences Centre to partake in a $1 million study to explore the use of AI to reduce physician administrative burnout.
The study will have a team oversee the impact generative AI has on recording patient interactions and generating clinical notes through a new digital health information system.
They’ll monitor its accuracy, efficiency, and work-place satisfaction of physicians in Southeastern Ontario hospitals.
