Katimavik is a national youth volunteer program initiated in 1977. In Mississippi Mills, THRIVE is new, and explores what youth can do, locally.
The Mississippi Mills Youth Centre, in partnership with the Municipality of Mississippi Mills are promoting THRIVE, a Youth Community Needs Project.
The project will create a youth committee and help answer the question – What do youth in Mississippi Mills need to thrive?
They are currently looking for youth volunteers for the committee.
Are you a youth aged 12-18 who wants to learn leadership, collaborate with peers and make a difference in your community? Then THRIVE could well be for you!
