Lanark County OPP have laid numerous charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Police responded to a Mississippi Mills Township home on Tuesday and issued an arrest warrant for a 25-year-old man.
The Arnprior resident was located the following day and is facing six charges including:
- Assault with a weapon
- Forcible confinement
- Criminal harassment – threatening conduct
- Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
- Mischief – interfere with lawful use or operation of property
- Mischief under $5000
The name of the accused will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
