Nearly $300,000 was contributed to the G. Tackeberry and Family Long-Term Care Home in Athens by 12 area municipalities.
The donations were based on $1 per resident for three years.
The redevelopment project will see 132 new long-term care beds constructed at Maple View Landings.
The contributions are as follows:

- Village of Merrickville-Wolford $9,300
- Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands $30,000
- Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal $22,500
- City of Brockville $66,000
- Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley $30,000
- Township of Athens $9,000
- Municipality of North Grenville $51,000
- Township of Augusta $25,000
- Village of Westport $3,000
- Town of Prescott $12,000
