The new CT scanner at the Almonte General Hospital has been installed.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last week to celebrate the $3.2 million scanner.
Executive Director of the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation Vaia Dimas spoke to the importance of this accomplishment.
Dimas says there’s lots of extra energy amongst staff.
The scanner is currently being tested and appointments will begin in the coming weeks.
