Smiths Falls Brooke Henderson is in France getting ready to play in her 3rd Olympic Games.
The 13 time LPGA Champion saw hundreds turn out in her hometown for a rolling rally to send her and sister-caddie Brittany off.
Among those gathered, family, old friends, and fans from across the town and the region.
Smiths Falls Mayor Shawn Pankow presented the pair with two flags signed by hundreds of town residents as tokens of good luck and support.
Brooke told 88.1 myFM it means a lot.
Mayor Pankow says Brooke and Brittany have been wonderful ambassadors for the town and deserve the accolades.
The Mayor adds the town is filled with Brooke’s biggest supporters.
No doubt many will be setting early alarms tomorrow to catch Brooke teeing off just after 4 a.m. our time.
