We’re teaming with the Good Food Bank at the Table CFC and the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank to collect donations from 10-4 on Thursday, August 22nd. Stop by Barnabe’s Independent Grocer in Perth, or The Garden Market in Smiths Falls to make a donation and help fill our food bank’s shelves during a traditionally lean time of the year!
Join the Share the Wisdom On-Farm Learning Day today (Friday) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Leacock Farms, 220 Leacock Rd, Crystal, just South of Jasper. Explore “Woven by Hand: Contemporary Canadian Tapestries” at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, 3 Rosamond St E, Almonte. This exhibit features recent works by ten renowned Canadian tapestry artists. Visit on Saturdays, August 17 and 24, or Tuesday the 20th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Exhibit runs until September 28.
