Lanark County’s set to award Climate Works a $723,000 tender to install cold climate heat pumps in 125 social housing units.
It’s part of a larger project to revamp the properties with some funding help from the federal government.
Housing Services Manager Kaitlyn Murray highlighted the benefits.
Installation will begin this year and is expected to be complete by the end of 2025.
