Beckwith Township is home to another Olympian after Regan Rathwell placed 7th in the women’s 200 metre backstroke in Paris.
This time they’re wishing well to Anne Fergusson at the upcoming Paralympic Games as a member of Canada’s Women’s National Sitting Volleyball team.
A member for 11 years, Ferguson developed a passion for the game and helped secure bronze medals in 2015 and 2019 at the Parapan American Games, and was at the 2016 Paralympic Games in 2016 and 2020.
