It’s back to school time and some summer routines are about to be uprooted.
We spoke to a Public Health Dietitian Jessica Durham about packing healthy lunches and the importance of that first meal of the day.
Durham said it’s important to look at the Canada Food Guide when packing a school lunch, as well as getting your children involved in the process.
She added that if you have younger children, have them practice opening up their lunch containers so they’re ready for the first day.
