Rideau Lakes council will reconsider making an integrity commissioner’s report public after voting last month not to.
By law, integrity commissioner reports must be made available to the public by any fashion of council’s choosing, but a divided table voted against doing so in early August.
Three members, including Mayor Arie Hoogenboom, voted in favour of including the report at tonight’s meeting, but they did not have the supporting votes.
It’s now listed as a motion coming from the mayor to reconsider the release of the report Tuesday night.
