Changes are coming to Smiths Falls roads.
A community safety zone with a speed reduction’s installed close to Duncan J Scholar Public School, a decision Director of Public Works and Utilities Paul McMunn said was a long-time coming.
McMunn says they intend to develop a guideline staff can follow to handle future requests and concerns from the public about potential problem areas.
In addition, the intersection of Thurber Street and McGill Street South has turned into a 4-way stop instead of two, and there’s now a 3-way stop at the intersection of Davidson Street East, Florence Street and Beech Street.
