A car found in the ditch led to the arrest of one driver.
Lanark County OPP responded to the single vehicle collision on Carroll Road at 3:15 am Saturday (September 7) morning and found open alcohol inside. They then located a male walking nearby, who was placed under arrest.
24-year-old Stirling Burke of Smiths Falls was charged with impaired driving and has a court date next month.
