Please be advised that the Town of Perth will be planting two (2) new trees on Foster Street, temporarily impacting traffic, parking, and access in certain areas.
Below are specific details:
Approximate Locations of Trees: 67 and 77 Foster Street
Date: Week of September 30
Time: 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
• Foster Street will be fully closed to westbound traffic between Gore and Wilson during these hours and will be detoured to North Street from Gore Street. Parking will not be accessible on the north side of Foster Street while the closure is in place.
• Access to all businesses and apartment entrances will remain.
• This will enable pedestrian traffic to be maintained on sidewalks and around the work area.
• Traffic and parking will be restored by 3:30 p.m. daily.
• Parking will be available on the south side of Foster Street. Alternatively, parking is available in the Wilson Street lot (which has pedestrian access to Foster Street), as well as at all designated parking stalls in the BIA.
